It is because he got into prestigious American University of Harvard! Read an interesting interview with a youth international player of Slovakia.
How did it all started? How did you get into University of Harvard?
,,The whole application process began in early September last year, when I first hear from Harvard the fact, that they are interested in me. I went through a number of video calls in which they asked not only about football and school, but also about my interests. They try to find out what kind of person I am, no matter how good football player and a student I am. In addition, they were waiting for SAT tests results, which also play an important role. Finally, they invited me to Harvard, where I had an official interview with important people and I also met the players and coaches of the football university team. I got to know the school campus and I also looked at freshman seminars. It was a great experience. When I returned to Slovakia, I started to prepare for the next SAT test. Finally, everything turned out great for me and I got the opportunity to spend my next 4 years at Harvard."
What did you have to do for it and what has led you to such a life step to go overseas and study there?
Harvard wasn't my goal during high school, so I can't say that Harvard was the reason I was hardly learning and trying to get the best results.
